I don’t know how I can appropriately articulate my love of children’s books. I’m constantly impressed with how they can effectively communicate the same ideas one would find in a Pynchon novel, but more adorable. In fact, I think if Thomas Pynchon were a kid’s author, he would produce something similar to the Piggie and Elephant collection by Mo Williams. Elephant, anxious, insecure, and existential + Piggie, self-confident, and critical = good childhood reading.
